FAQs

Do I need prior Pilates experience?
Not at all. We offer classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced. With a maximum of 6 clients per class, you’ll get focused coaching and personalized modifications.

What should I wear to my session?
Wear comfortable, fitted clothing that allows for easy movement. Grip socks are welcome but not required.

Are sessions suitable for prenatal or postpartum clients?
Yes. We recommend starting with a private session if you:

  • Are new to Pilates

  • Don’t already have a regular practice

  • Are in your second trimester or beyond

How do I book a session?
You can book through our app or on the scheduling page. Just choose the class and time that works best for you.  If you’re a new student, you’ll need to SIGN UP when prompted.  Once you’ve created an account with our booking platform (wellnessliving) you can sign up and purchase classes.

How to book via the Freebird App?
On your smartphone, download the Freebird Pilates app from the App Store or Google Play. Proceed with booking your class - you’ll be prompted to sign in.

→If you’re new to Freebird, scroll down and select SIGN UP.
→If you’re a returning client, SIGN IN using your Freebird credentials.

Can I reschedule or cancel?
24 hours
. We kindly request that you cancel or reschedule any booked/waitlisted classes from your Freebird account at least 24 hours before the start of class. The studio does not manage cancellations or schedule changes for clients, with the exception of privates.

Where is the studio located?
We’re in Downtown Carbondale, just off the Highway 133 roundabout. The studio faces Colorado Avenue. Look for the white sign with our bird logo.

How does the waitlist work?
If you join the waitlist, be prepared to come to class up to 1 hour before start time.  If a space opens up, you will be automatically promoted and alerted via email, text, and push notification (if you’ve provided a phone number on your Freebird account).  Our cancellation policy still applies! Please cancel from the waitlist if you know you cannot attend with less than 24 hours’ notice.  If you are promoted within 24 hours and cancel, or “no show,” you forfeit that session.

Do classes expire?
Drop-in classes expire one month from the purchase date.  This includes drop-ins purchased to join a waitlisted class. Class and private passes expire 6 months from the purchase date.  We offer one complimentary hold for extended travel/medical leave. Please email the studio to place a pass on hold.

How do I track my pass/purchases?
It’s easy! You can track your purchase history, remaining credits, and expiration dates from your Freebird account.

From the Website: Select My Profile -> Passes and Memberships
From the App: Homepage -> More -> Purchases

Do you offer refunds?
Freebird does not provide refunds for any purchases.
